In order to best support human rights non-profits doing exceptional work worldwide, Karama USA will feature a “competition” built to raise awareness and offer significant support to those who need it.

Non-profits, especially those in need of funding or a platform, are asked to submit an application to give us an idea of who they are, what their goals are, and what obstacles are in the way of achieving those goals. Our friendly competition will award dozens of non-profits with the means to share their passion, expand their reach, find new volunteers, and secure funding and investors.

Our Top 3 winners will receive cash prizes and be highlighted throughout the festival in Silicon Valley.

The Top 10 will partake in two 5-person panels to highlight their organization’s work.

The Top 11-20 will present awards with the festival staff to winners, highlighting
their organization’s work in the process.

And dozens of other non-profits will be provided booths throughout the festival to help build awareness and attract donors for their organization’s work.
